Concept, UI/UX Design
A new feature to help users keep track of their journey towards a calmer and balanced mind. Users can simply take note of their mood, rate their sense of calmness, and jot down any thoughts or feelings after their meditation session is complete.
The challenge was to figure out how to keep the users engaged with the app after each meditation session. By focusing on what the user is thinking about at the end of their session — we created a new feature set asking a series of questions. Over time, that data would then create a detailed look into the users moods and thoughts throughout their Headspace journey.
Once a session has been completed, the user will be greeted with a pop-up screen asking them a set of 3 simple questions.
the calm factor
The second slide will ask the user to rate their level of calmness on a scale from 1 to 10. 10 being a zen master.
Slide three will give the user the opportunity to jot down any thoughts or feelings they’d want to keep a record of. The form will have a cap at 300 characters.
ENTRIES, STATS, and a CALENDAR
With the new Journal icon, users can swipe back and forth to view all of their entries, check out their stats, and see their mood calendar.
